Lab Grown Diamonds Description
Lab grown diamonds are also known as synthetic diamonds. So this kind of diamond, is not naturally formed diamond, but by human to cultivate. Artificial diamond is a kind of polycrystalline diamond made of diamond crystals 10 to 30 nanometers in diameter. Its molecular structure is not the complete octahedral structure of natural diamond, but a complex structure, which will produce phosphorescent phenomenon. Synthetic diamonds are cheaper to make and can be made in a variety of colours.
Compared with the long history of natural diamonds, lab grown diamonds were born in the middle of the last century. At the end of the 18th century, The French chemist Lavoisier discovered that diamond was a single crystal composed of carbon elements, which provided a theoretical basis for the later generation of diamond cultivation technology, and thus wrote the development chapter of lab grown diamonds.
The main raw materials for diamond cultivation are graphite powder and metal catalyst powder. In the process of diamond synthesis, only graphite powder (carbon element) is synthesized to produce diamond, and metal catalyst powder is only one kind of material to promote the transformation of graphite powder into diamond. The proportion of different raw materials directly determines the particle size, performance and quality of the product. Generally, the proportion of the consumption of metal catalyst powder and graphite powder is about 1:1.

From a scientific point of view, cultivated diamonds are exactly the same as natural diamonds, the only difference being where they are formed.
Advantages of lab grown diamonds:
1. Lab groen diamond penetration rate is entering a stage of accelerated growth. At present, the penetration rate of diamond cultivation industry is 6%, and the market is expected to grow diamond industry penetration rate is 10% this year. When the penetration rate reaches about 10%, the industry enters the outbreak period. It is precisely because the penetration rate of new energy vehicles breaks through the key value of 10% that the whole industry begins to break out.
2. Lab grown diamond is a stage of increasing demand, and recognition is constantly improving. Lab created diamond is constantly recognized, attracting big brands to enter, and terminal demand is expected to accelerate growth.
3. The leading company in diamond cultivation has achieved rapid growth. From the perspective of the three quarterly reports, the diamond cultivation business of leading companies has achieved rapid growth in the three quarters, with an average growth rate of more than 100%, which is in the stage of rapid growth.
