Can you tell difference between lab and natural diamond?
Crystal shape: most natural diamond crystals are octahedral (eight equilateral triangular faces) crystals, and lab created diamond crystals grow into octahedral and cubic (six equivalent square faces) crystals.
Inclusions: Natural and synthetic diamonds may have various inclusions (fractures, fractures, other crystals, hollow tubes, etc.)
Color: Man made diamonds are usually colorless, nearly colorless, light to dark yellow or tan or other tones; they are less common in red or green. Cultivated diamonds can be treated with the same color as natural diamonds, so any color is possible.
Clarity: The clarity of lab grown diamonds can go from low to high just like natural diamonds.
Cut: The cut of cultivated diamonds is the same as that of natural diamonds-any cut is possible. Round brilliant is the most common shape and cut style for colorless cultivated diamonds.
