Lab Created Diamonds Description
Lab created diamonds, also known as lab-grown diamonds and synthetic diamonds, are pure carbon diamonds grown in highly-controlled laboratory conditions that simulate the Earth's natural growing process, above ground. Synthetic diamond is also widely known as HPHT diamond or CVD diamond after the two common production methods.
Lab grown HPHT/CVD diamond are manufactured, diamond-like crystals. The manufacturing processes work to duplicate the pressure and temperature of the natural diamond-producing environment. The formation process is initiated by forcing a chemical reaction, through adding a catalyst to carbon, and placing the mixture in high-pressure cells. Then, the mixture is cooled and washed with acid, which results in a synthetic HPHT diamond.
Quality of lab grwon HPHT/CVD diamonds can vary from inferior to superior to the natural diamond, depending upon the technology and individual manufacturing processes. The methods used in the production of synthetic diamonds are high pressure high temperature (HPHT) OR Chemical Deposition Method.

Characteristics Of Lab Created Diamonds
The cultivation of diamond is through high-tech instruments, the simulation of natural diamond generation in the natural environment required for the growth of the environment, the use of the latest science and technology, carefully cultivated in the laboratory, its chemistry, physics, atoms, light and all properties are the same as natural diamonds, is a real sense of diamond.
On July 25, 2018, the FEDERAL Trade Commission (FTC) erased the word "natural" when it revised its definition of diamonds, recognizing and accepting cultivated diamonds as real.
Cultivating diamond has the characteristics of science and technology, environmental protection, mass production, plasticity, standardization, high cost performance and wide application.
The Gemological Institute of America (GIA), the international authority for the identification and grading of jewelry, has announced that from July 2019, it will adopt a new version of its certification, which will no longer use the term Synthetic Diamond, but instead use the term lab-grown Diamond. Including IGI, HRD, CTI and many other well-known authoritative jewelry appraisal institutions, also fully accept the cultivation of diamond categories.
The advantages of diamond cost performance are prominent, and the acceptance and standardization of the industry are increasingly enhanced.
Diamond cultivation is a synthetic diamond grown in the laboratory to simulate the natural diamond growing environment. The methods of synthetic diamond cultivation mainly include HPHT high pressure and high temperature method and CVD chemical vapor deposition method. The incubation time is about half a month to one month.
Growing diamonds have the same physical, chemical and optical properties as natural diamonds. They are simple to produce, environmentally friendly (Frost&Sullivan reports that the harmful carbon emissions from mining diamonds are 57,000 grams per carat, while the harmful carbon emissions from growing diamonds are only 0.028 grams per carat) and cheap (about 30% of the natural diamonds,
Positioning light luxury), style and other advantages.
