Lab Grown Certified Diamonds Description
Diamonds are made of pure carbon in the shape of a tetrahedron. Diamonds are famous all over the world as luxury and precious jewelry. However, it is also the hardest substance in nature, a good heat conductor and an inert substance. These characteristics mean that diamonds can play an important role in some industrial applications, such as metal cutting, drilling, grinding, mining and construction, as well as applications in high-pressure testing and high-performance bearings.
For a long time, people believed that diamonds could only be created under high pressure and high temperature conditions, imitating the formation of natural diamonds. The use of this method to make diamonds is now very common, mainly for the aforementioned industrial applications. However, in the late 1980s, scientists discovered how to use a method called chemical vapor deposition (CVD) to grow diamonds.
Colorless and almost colorless CVD synthetic diamonds are usually type IIa, while only 2% of natural diamonds are type IIa. Type IIa diamonds are characterized by high purity (under a low nitrogen environment), and they exhibit transparency in certain parts of the ultraviolet and infrared spectra. Numerous UV detection instruments on the market can initially detect whether it is a CVD synthetic diamond. Of course, other tests are needed to confirm whether the sample is a CVD-grown diamond or a natural diamond. If the diamond is not Type IIa, it is most likely a natural diamond.

Lab Grown Certified Diamonds Introduction
Natural diamonds are created by nature and are the result of high temperature and pressure formed over billions of years. The Lab Grown Diamonds are produced in the laboratory, usually in a few weeks. The chemical difference between the two is same.
So how do you distinguish between Lab Grown Diamonds and natural diamonds?
There is no obvious difference between the Lab Grown Diamonds and natural diamonds. Even professional gemologists need special equipment to identify them. By zooming in, professionals will be able to discern subtle contrasts in diamond inclusions grown and mined in the laboratory.
