Lab Grown Polished Diamonds Description
What is lab grown diamond?
Lab-grown diamonds are grown in the laboratory. People use advanced equipment to simulate the environment in which natural diamonds are formed.
This formation process is the main factor that distinguishes lab created diamonds from mined diamonds. Lab grown diamonds can be mass produced within a few weeks. As a result, laboratory-grown diamonds are much cheaper than natural diamonds of the same size and quality. The quality of diamonds produced in the laboratory can range from lower than natural diamonds to higher than natural diamonds, depending on the technology and individual manufacturing processes.
Since the physical and chemical properties of laboratory-grown diamonds and natural diamonds are exactly the same as those of natural diamonds, can one distinguish between the two?
The answer is yes. In fact, in terms of shape, rough lab created diamonds and natural diamonds usually present different shapes. Due to different formation conditions, natural diamonds usually present octahedral crystals while lab grown rough diamonds usually grow into crystals that contain both octahedrons and cubes.
At present, there are two main methods to make lab grown diamonds in the laboratory, namely, high temperature and high pressure(HTHP)method and chemical vapor deposition(CVD) method.

Lab Grown Polished Diamonds Introduction
Natural diamonds are created by nature and are the result of high temperature and pressure formed over billions of years. The Lab Grown Diamonds are produced in the laboratory, usually in a few weeks. The chemical difference between the two is same.
So how do you distinguish between Lab Grown Diamonds and natural diamonds?
There is no obvious difference between the Lab Grown Diamonds and natural diamonds. Even professional gemologists need special equipment to identify them. By zooming in, professionals will be able to discern subtle contrasts in diamond inclusions grown and mined in the laboratory.
