Colored Lab Grown Rough Diamonds Description
Laboratory grown diamonds are not mined from the earth. Laboratory grown diamonds are not fakes, not cubic zircons, not crystals. They have the same chemical composition as natural diamonds. Laboratory diamonds are made in the laboratory. It starts with a small chemical called diamond seed. Then it's exposed to high temperatures, plus a layer of carbon coating, all of which are designed to help laboratory made diamonds crystallize as they grow.
Diamonds grown in the laboratory have the same optical and chemical composition as diamonds produced on earth.
Although scientists have been using this method since Mid-1900, the diamonds originally made are pumpkin colored. Only in recent years have scientists found a way to make white diamonds. There are two main ways to make laboratory grown diamonds. One is to use ultra-high pressure and high temperature to simulate the natural diamond growth environment and dissolve carbon into diamond seeds; Another method is to put the diamond seeds into a special diamond microwave oven, inject carbon gas into the microwave oven and stick it on the seeds to slow down the growth of the seeds.

Colored Lab Grown Rough Diamonds Introduction
Natural diamonds are created by nature and are the result of high temperature and pressure formed over billions of years. The Rough Lab Grown Diamonds are produced in the laboratory, usually in a few weeks. The chemical difference between the two is same.
So how do you distinguish between Rough Lab Grown Diamonds and natural diamonds?
There is no obvious difference between the Rough Lab Grown Diamonds and natural diamonds. Even professional gemologists need special equipment to identify them. By zooming in, professionals will be able to discern subtle contrasts in diamond inclusions grown and mined in the laboratory.
