HPHT Lab Grown Diamonds Description
Lab grown diamonds, as the name suggests, are synthetic diamonds produced in laboratory. It's the only thing that's different from their naturally occurring counterparts. Managed under strict guidelines and a highly controlled pressure environment, authorized creators replicate the exact composition of natural diamonds. Since the core of diamonds is carbon, the diamonds made in the laboratory have exactly the same chemical and physical properties, and there is no monopoly regulation in the mining industry, so they are cost-effective for consumers.
Lab grown diamonds are manufactured by advanced processes such as high pressure high temperature (HPHT) and chemical vapor deposition (CVD). When using the HPHT creation method, a small diamond seed is placed in a pure carbon form. The seeds are then exposed to temperatures above 1500 degrees Celsius and pressure of about 1.5 million pounds per square inch. The fusion of the two components forms pure carbon diamond. When CVD is used, the process is slightly different. A diamond seed is placed in a heated sealed chamber and exposed to a carbon rich gas. High temperatures of 800 degrees Celsius combine with the gas, causing the carbon to crystallize and form diamonds. These processes are merely replications of the same environment in the earth's core.

HPHT Lab Grown Diamonds Introduction
Natural diamonds are created by nature and are the result of high temperature and pressure formed over billions of years. The Lab Grown Diamonds are produced in the laboratory, usually in a few weeks. The chemical difference between the two is same.
So how do you distinguish between Lab Grown Diamonds and natural diamonds?
There is no obvious difference between the Lab Grown Diamonds and natural diamonds. Even professional gemologists need special equipment to identify them. Professionals will be able to discern subtle contrasts in inclusions between lab grown and mined diamonds.
