Rough Lab Grown Diamonds Description


The lab grown diamonds are also real diamonds. They have the same chemical composition and crystal structure as natural diamonds.

However, the manufacturing process of laboratory-grown diamonds uses advanced technology to simulate the formation conditions of natural diamonds under the earth's crust. The second is chemical vapor deposition (CVD), which uses carbon-rich gas (such as methane) in the vacuum chamber of the laboratory to produce cultivated diamonds. The production process of the CVD process is to first decompose the methane gas molecules into carbon and hydrogen atoms, and then deposit them on the diamond seed crystals to form square flat cultivated diamond crystals.

It usually takes several weeks to manufacture cultivated diamonds in the laboratory. Compared to the millions or even billions of years of formation of natural diamonds deep in the earth, this time is very short.
