Lab Created Diamonds Description
Lab grown diamond, also known as artificial diamond, artificial diamond, is produced in the laboratory of diamond, and natural diamond in chemical composition, lattice structure, physical properties are completely the same.
Lab grown diamond is artificially simulated natural diamond growth environment synthetic diamond, using high temperature and high pressure method (HTHP method) and CVD method (chemical vapor precipitation method) synthesis, also known as grown diamond. Laboratory breeding is real diamonds, physical properties, chemical composition and crystal structure and natural diamond basic same, both share 4 c certification standard, has been appraised by IGI, GIA and other international authoritative institutions issued certificate.
Production of natural rough diamonds has been declining in recent years, but global demand for diamonds has been increasing. Supply and demand imbalance for laboratory made diamond creates opportunity.
With the progress of human technology, scientists have to transfer natural diamond to the laboratory environment, the use of high pressure high temperature (HPHT) to simulate the diamond growth environment, with the size of gravel diamond for seeds to grow.

Synthetic Rough Uncut Diamond Introduction
High temperature and high pressure synthesis method is also called seed catalyst method. Graphite is low voltage stabilization, and diamond (diamond mineralogy name) is a high pressure stable phase. Graphite transition to diamond directly to high pressure and temperature conditions, generally take 10 gpa, pressure and temperature of more than 3000 ℃. If metal catalysts (such as Fe, Ni, Mn, Co and their alloys) are involved, the temperature and pressure conditions required for graphite to become diamond will be greatly reduced, so the current high temperature and high pressure diamond synthesis methods all involve metal catalysts. As solvent metal contact coal in carbon source (a graphite) between seeds and diamond products. Carbon source at high temperature end, seed crystal at low temperature end. As carbon source in high temperature and the solubility is greater than the low temperature, temperature difference between the solubility difference as carbon source from high end to low end the spread of the driving force, the carbon source in the seed crystal precipitation gradually, the diamond crystals grow. Since the driving force of crystal growth is caused by temperature difference, this method is also called temperature difference method.
Natural diamonds are created by nature, the result of billions of years of high temperature and pressure. Laboratory of rough diamond is produced in the laboratory, usually need a couple of weeks. The chemical difference is the same.
