CVD Lab Grown Diamonds Description
High temperature heat treatment of diamond
Perhaps the oldest way to make diamonds is through a high-pressure, high-temperature synthesis process. Since the mid-1950s, laboratory diamonds have become part of the market through this technology.
General Electric first introduced this method, which follows the natural process of diamond creation. It imitates the process of making natural diamonds. It involves using pressure and heat to crystallize carbon deep in the earth. From there, diamonds need to be exposed to temperatures as high as 2600 degrees Celsius to harden.
CVD Diamond Process
Laboratory grown diamonds can also come from the CVD process. This represents chemical vapor deposition.
CVD diamonds come from various gases, such as methane. They are stored in a vacuum chamber, which decomposes the molecules of the gas, and then these molecules gather on the pre-existing diamond seeds.
Unlike HPHT diamonds, CVD diamond manufacturing requires only moderate heat and lower pressure. The creator can also control the color of the diamond. Carbon and hydrogen produce colorless crystals, while the introduction of other gases such as boron can produce yellow or blue synthetic diamonds.

CVD Lab Grown Diamonds Introduction
Natural diamonds are created by nature and are the result of high temperature and pressure formed over billions of years. The Rough Lab Grown Diamonds are produced in the laboratory, usually in a few weeks. The chemical difference between the two is same.
So how do you distinguish between Rough Lab Grown Diamonds and natural diamonds?
There is no obvious difference between the Rough Lab Grown Diamonds and natural diamonds. Even professional gemologists need special equipment to identify them. By zooming in, professionals will be able to discern subtle contrasts in diamond inclusions grown and mined in the laboratory.
